Books I am reading
I enjoyed Sacred Hoops:
Spiritual Lessons of a Hardwood Warrior by Phil Jackson
I heard Susan Elizabeth Phillips speak at the Margaret Mitchell house in Atlanta and she sparked
my interest in THE CHICAGO STARS/BONNER BROTHERS BOOKS. I just completed NOBODY'S BABY BUT MINE
and LOVED it! It was a delightful treat of a book, especially after hitting my deadline.
Thank you, Susan! For more go to http://susanelizabethphillips.com
I just finished Christina Dodd's The Barefoot Princess and LOVED it! Anyone who enjoys
Regency romance with strong heroines like I do will adore this book, too. I highly
recommend it and can't wait for the next installment in the series. For more information

I adore Jeffery Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme Novels. I loved The Twelfth Card and it was one of
my favorite mysteries.
I just finished Sherrilyn Kenyon's SINS OF THE NIGHT. It's a keeper. Not only is Sherrilyn a
sweet southern gal, but she writes sinfully wonderful stories.

As far as anthologies go, HERO, COME BACK is one of my favorites. Stephanie Laurens, Christina
Dodd and Elizabeth Boyle are three talented ladies who know how to tell a good tale- at any length.

I recently had the good fortune of meeting one of my all-time favorite authors, Bernard
Cornwell. It's no wonder that his writing is terrific; the man is a natural storyteller.
Listening to him talk about history is like being transported to another time and place.
So if he's coming to your community any time soon, it's well worth the effort to see him
in person and get your copy of his exciting new work, THE LAST KINGDOM. I can't wait to
read the next installment of this wonderful new series. For more information go to:

In addition to romance, I am a fantasy fan and just finished reading NEW SPRING:
THE NOVEL, the PREQUEL to Robert Jordan's #1 internationally bestselling WHEEL OF
TIME™ series. It brought me back into a series that I love. I recommend it
to anyone interested in well crafted fantasy where women take a strong role. You can

One of my all time favorites if you like compelling fantasy is
The Deed of
Paksenarrion. In the omnibus edition Deed of Parksenarrion, you get all three
novels in the epic trilogy: Sheepfarmer's Daughter, Divided Allegiance, and Oath
of Gold. I love these books and adore Elizabeth Moon's writing. You can learn

here for a wonderful editorial on Romance ("A
Fine Romance") in the New York Times by my friend,
Eloisa James. Eloisa's writing is always on target and it's nice to see it reflected
in such a respected newspaper.
